Office Manager / Valuer

Due to the expansion of the McGranaghan Group, McGranaghan Estate is actively recruiting an office manager/valuer to work within our dynamic and expanding company.

The Company:

McGranaghan Estate is a residential estate agency practice. We deal with the purchases, sales, rentals & property management of houses, apartments and lands on behalf of vendors and landlords.

The Role:

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced office manager/property valuer. This is a full time position.

The successful applicant will be required to work at one of our 4 Belfast offices with our experienced and vibrant team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone to progress their career to the next level and join an expanding practice.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Supporting and assisting with property enquiries
  • Property & New Home viewings
  • Manage the training and on-going performance of the entire sales team
  • Valuation of residential & commercial properties
  • Negotiating sale contracts
  • Reporting and servicing existing clients
  • Negotiating property sales from market commencement through to completion
  • Administrative duties required to support the aforesaid

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience working within business  with at least five years’  participation working in a managerial role in estate agency
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Property valuation experience
  • Have a pro-active and confident attitude
  • Team orientated
  • Manage the training and on-going performance of the entire sales team 
  • Can motivate staff to achieve set targets
  • Self-motivated
  • Professional in both manner and appearance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Review activity across each department and assign targets accordingly.
  • Daily review and monitoring of each departments activity
  • A high level of IT literacy
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft programs and the Internet
  • Great organisational skills
  • Target driven
  • Well spoken & well presented
  • Determined to succeed and progress in your career an estate agent


  • A qualification in a property related subject
  • An understanding of estate agency software, such as Edge would be an advantage
  • A full and clean UK driving licence
  • An understanding of the local housing market
  • NAEA Membership
